The alder body is topped with figured flame maple and finished in a translucent Celeste Blue, allowing the figuring underneath to remain visible. The result is an incredibly photogenic bass that changes quite a bit depending on the lighting and viewing angle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese were produced for the \u003cstrong\u003e2024 Collection only\u003c\/strong\u003e, and the Flame Celeste Blue version appears to be especially difficult to find outside of Japan. It's a great combination of the build quality Fender Japan is known for with a finish that really separates it from the standard-production Hybrid II models. \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBeyond the looks, the Hybrid II series is an excellent player's bass. It features a maple Modern \"C\" neck with a satin-finished back, 9.5\" fingerboard radius and narrow-tall frets, along with Fender's Hybrid II Custom Voiced single-coil pickups. Fender also fitted these with a vintage-style four-saddle bridge with a sustain block underneath. \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis example is in \u003cstrong\u003eExcellent condition\u003c\/strong\u003e and has clearly seen very little use. There is almost no visible fret wear, and the body, neck and hardware remain exceptionally clean.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have just cleaned it, restrung it and given it a full setup.
