Fender Japan FSR Traditional 60s Telecaster Custom Sherwood Green Metallic

Up for grabs at the Japanese Guitar Company is a pristine, brand-new 2026 Factory Special Run Traditional 60s Telecaster Custom in a stunning Sherwood Green Metallic finish. This exclusive instrument was crafted as a highly limited run for the domestic Ishibashi boutique market and was never featured in standard worldwide production catalogs, making it a spectacular find for players on this side of the Atlantic.

This model perfectly channels the golden era of mid-1960s design while delivering the peerless build precision that the Nagoya facility is celebrated for. It features an alder body finished in a deep, metallic emerald hue that catches the light beautifully, accented by a striking vintage-accurate cream binding on both the front and back edges. The headstock sports historical vintage-style spaghetti script logos and period-correct vintage tuners.

The neck features a comfortable, historic 60s U shape profile capped with a dark, high-grade rosewood slab fretboard, a 9.5 inch radius, and 21 vintage-style frets. For hardware, it comes equipped with a traditional 3-saddle bridgeplate fitted with threaded steel barrel saddles for a very snappy, articulate response. The factory single-coil pickups are voiced to deliver that unmistakable vintage bite, snap, and warm mid-range growl that defined the greatest tracking sessions of the era.

This guitar is in absolute showroom mint, brand-new condition. The frets have zero wear, the gloss finish is completely flawless with mirror clarity, and the factory plastic protective film remains entirely untouched on the pickguard and hardware plates. It has been thoroughly checked, fully detailed, and completely set up in our workshop to ensure low, effortless action with immaculate intonation straight out of the box.
