Proudly bearing the gold Kindenryu insignias across its beautifully figured amber-burst wood soundboard, the Matsukaze model represents an elite full-scale bass configuration designed to register a full two octaves lower than standard soprano instruments. Equipped with an extended thirty-point-seventy-five inch playing scale and a premium tortoiseshell control faceplate, this heavy-duty instrument houses a factory single-coil magnetic pickup routed to low-profile dual thumbwheel adjusters for integrated volume and tone shaping.

As a premium vintage performance import curated directly for our shop, this instrument remains in exceptional cosmetic and structural condition, showcasing a highly uniform typewriter key action across the bass register. The gorgeous gloss finish retains a brilliant luster, displaying only light surface handling marks and minor polish swirls consistent with careful milestone use over the decades. The passive internal electronics have been thoroughly bench-tested in our workshop to guarantee a strong, noise-free output signal through the standard quarter-inch side jack, and the low-profile thumbwheel pots glide smoothly. The instrument is currently configured in a streamlined single-string bass arrangement that provides an unbelievable acoustic tracking foundation for deep sub-harmonic drones, minimalist modal patches, and modern ambient soundscapes.

Purchasing this rare full-scale bass performance zither from our physical inventory means you bypass the classic headaches of international customs delays, unpredictable import tariff conversions, and risky transoceanic shipping. Our workshop team has fully detailed the heavy timber body, cleaned the internal electronics, checked the structural alignment under tension, and prepped this piece for immediate playability right out of the box. The instrument comes beautifully protected inside its matching case.

Bin - PA-0

https://japaneseguitarcompany.com/products/kindenryu-matsukaze-bass-electric-taishogoto-30-inch-japanese-nagoya-harp
