It plays well and delivers the bright, articulate tone that bowlback mandolins are known for. It would make a great instrument for folk, traditional, Celtic, classical, or old-time music.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCondition is good overall for its age. There are various cosmetic scratches, dings, and signs of use throughout the instrument as shown in the photos. The finish on the back shows some wear and there is evidence of an old sticker or label having been removed.
