Suzuki Kohaku Type II CHK-2 Soprano Electric Taishogoto 2006 Nagoya Harp

This modern Suzuki Kohaku Type II model CHK-2 soprano electric taishogoto represents the absolute pinnacle of professional-grade Japanese keyboard zither engineering. Masterfully built in Japan, this contemporary solid-body instrument features an ergonomic contoured frame finished in a striking translucent amber gloss that beautifully highlights the underlying wood grain. Equipped with an advanced multi-pickup configuration featuring an onboard magnetic pickup and a secondary internal piezo system, this 27-key typewriter-action instrument provides independent volume, tone-shaping, and piezo blend controls to deliver everything from traditional crisp acoustic textures to sweeping, ambient soundscapes when connected to a standard amplifier or effects rig.

As an elite modern import curated directly for our physical inventory, this instrument is in spectacular, excellent overall cosmetic and structural condition. The amber lacquer finish is exceptionally clean, displaying virtually no notable handling wear, and the premium gold-plated hardware retains its brilliant luster without pitting or tarnish. The original 20-inch scale string configuration tunes smoothly via the gold enclosed peg machines, the key lever action is perfectly uniform across the entire register, and our workshop has verified the 9V active electronic preamp circuit outputs a pristine, noise-free signal.

Purchasing this pristine performance instrument from our physical inventory means you bypass the classic headaches of international customs delays, unpredictable import tariff conversions, and risky transoceanic shipping. Our team has fully detailed the body, cleaned the contact switches, checked the mechanical key response, and prepped this piece for immediate playability right out of the box. The instrument comes beautifully protected inside its matching original premium two-tone padded hardshell carrying case featuring a rich green plush-lined interior and an integrated accessory pocket.
