Suzuki Tokumatsu Soprano Electric Taishogoto 1980s Vintage Nagoya Harp Natural

This vintage Suzuki Tokumatsu soprano electric taishogoto offers an exceptional blend of traditional acoustic resonance and versatile electronic sound design straight from the golden era of Japanese instrument manufacturing. Masterfully built in Japan by Suzuki, the Tokumatsu model features a resonant hollow wood sound chamber crafted from Paulownia timber, accented by an organic acoustic soundhole configuration. Equipped with a factory-integrated magnetic pickup routed to a premium gold-plated control faceplate, this 27-key typewriter-action instrument provides independent volume and tone shaping via side-mounted knobs to interface flawlessly with traditional tube amplifiers, delay units, and modern ambient pedalboards.

As a premium vintage instrument curated directly for our shop, this piece remains in stellar overall cosmetic and structural condition. The amber natural wood lacquer finish displays only incredibly light surface handling marks, minor polish swirls, and honest vintage character consistent with careful milestone use over the decades. The original 20-inch scale string configuration tunes smoothly via the white open-gear pegs, the key lever action is perfectly uniform across the entire register, and our workshop has fully tested the passive electronics to guarantee a clean, powerful output signal through the standard quarter-inch side jack.

Purchasing this serviced performance zither from our physical inventory means you bypass the classic headaches of international customs delays, unpredictable import tariff conversions, and risky transoceanic shipping. Our team has fully detailed the hollow wood body, cleaned the electronics pot assembly, checked the mechanical key response, and prepped this piece for immediate playability right out of the box. The instrument comes beautifully protected inside its original vintage brown faux-leather hard storage case featuring a protective plush cherry-red lined interior and secure latching hardware.
