While it may initially appear that each switch simply turns an individual pickup on and off, the switching actually creates different pickup combinations depending on the selector configuration. Very cool vintage Japanese engineering that gives this guitar a surprisingly wide tonal range.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eJust cleaned, restrung, and professionally set up here at Japanese Guitar Company. Plays well with comfortable action and a ton of vintage vibe.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCosmetically, this guitar shows honest age and wear throughout exactly like you'd hope to see on a real 1960s Japanese hollowbody. Plenty of scratches, finish wear, dings, and checking from decades of use.
