There are normal signs of cosmetic wear throughout from decades of use, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage instrument. The frets show virtually no wear, which is always great to see on an older acoustic.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe action currently measures approximately \u003cstrong\u003e0.11\" (2.8 mm)\u003c\/strong\u003e on the bass side and \u003cstrong\u003e0.09\" (2.3 mm)\u003c\/strong\u003e on the treble side at the 12th fret. While this is on the higher side, it remains very playable. The saddle has already been lowered as far as practical, so there is little to no additional adjustment available to further reduce the action.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne thing worth mentioning is that the saddle has a split\/chipped section.
