1982 Aria Pro II CSB-380 Cardinal Series Bass Red MIJ
Very cool 1982 Aria Pro II CSB-380 Cardinal Series bass made in Japan. The Cardinal Series has become one of the standout Japanese bass designs of the early 1980s, offering excellent craftsmanship, a comfortable offset body, and a powerful single humbucking pickup that delivers a punchy, articulate tone suited for a wide variety of playing styles.
This bass has just been cleaned, restrung, and professionally set up here at Japanese Guitar Company. It plays great with comfortable, low action and an easy feel across the entire neck.
Overall, it is in excellent condition. There are only light signs of normal use throughout, and it has been very well cared for over the years. The frets show virtually no wear, leaving plenty of life for years to come. The vibrant red finish presents beautifully and is complemented nicely by the cream pickup cover and gold speed knobs.
Whether you're looking for a unique vintage Japanese bass or simply a fantastic player, this CSB-380 is an excellent example from the highly respected Matsumoku era.
The back finish is a little cloudy but it's nothing major.
