Cat's Eyes CE-350TW 12-String Acoustic Guitar MIJ Japan w/ Hard Case

Up for sale is a Tokai Cat's Eyes CE-350TW 12-string acoustic guitar made in Japan.

Cat's Eyes guitars have long been respected for their excellent Japanese craftsmanship, and the CE-350TW offers the full, shimmering sound that has made vintage 12-strings so popular for folk, classic rock, worship, and singer-songwriter music. Built in Japan, these guitars have developed a loyal following thanks to their solid construction and impressive tone.

This guitar has recently been cleaned, restrung, and is ready to go.

Please note that this guitar does have a twist in the neck. As a result, there is noticeable buzzing on the lower frets. The strings do not fret out, but the buzzing is present and should be expected while playing.

Additionally, one side of the neck and fretboard had previously separated and has since been professionally glued back together. The repair is structurally solid, but the glue line remains visible and is shown clearly in the photos.

The top has developed a typical belly bulge behind the bridge, which is common on many older acoustic guitars. The bridge itself remains flat and securely attached with no lifting.

Cosmetically, the guitar is in good vintage condition with typical scratches, dings, and finish wear from decades of use. The original tuning machines show cosmetic oxidation but continue to function properly. The frets still have plenty of usable life remaining.

A fitted hard shell case is included. The case shows cosmetic wear from age and use but remains functional and provides excellent protection.

Overall, this is a vintage Japanese-made Cat's Eyes 12-string with a warm, full sound and plenty of character. The neck twist and previous neck repair are reflected in the pricing, making this a great option for someone looking for a quality MIJ 12-string player rather than a collector-grade example.
