Up for grabs at the Japanese Guitar Company is a magnificent 2008 Edwards E-SA-125LTS semi-hollowbody in a gorgeous Tobacco Sunburst finish. Handcrafted in Japan under ESP's specialized premium division, the Lacquer Top Series represents an elite tier of manufacturing, combining historical design specifications with an ultra-thin lacquer top coat that maximizes wood resonance and natural acoustic sustain.

The construction blueprints are exceptional, featuring a select maple body layout integrated with a solid maple center block and a traditional set-neck joint. The bound rosewood fingerboard features a comfortable slim-to-medium C neck profile with elegant dot inlays and 22 beautifully dressed frets. For electronics, it comes factory-equipped with premium Seymour Duncan humbuckers wired to individual volume and tone controls, delivering an incredible array of woody mid-range punch, smooth vocal-like neck warmth, and a bite at the bridge that handles everything from sophisticated jazz lines to driven classic rock leads.

The hardware appointments are completely original, showcasing a traditional tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and vintage-style tulip button tuners that maintain solid tuning stability. Please note that the original black pickguard is safely included in the case compartment, but the small metal mounting bracket used to attach it to the side of the body is missing.

This instrument is in excellent overall condition and has just gone through our workshop for a full deep clean, fresh strings, and a professional setup. The finish retains a beautiful gloss with only minor handling scuffs and light playwear consistent with careful use over the years. The frets are in outstanding health, rating a fantastic 9.6 out of 10 with virtually no visible wear or flat spots on the wire.
