Fender Japan 2020 Limited Edition Stratocaster Noir Satin Black

Available now at the Japanese Guitar Company is an exceptionally sleek, highly exclusive 2020 Limited Edition Stratocaster Noir. Released in limited quantities strictly for the domestic boutique market, the Noir series is a stunning exercise in stealth styling, combining an aggressive dark presentation with premium modern build quality.

This instrument features a select basswood body finished in a beautiful Matte Satin Black, perfectly offset by a matching black-painted headstock face adorned with an eye-catching red Fender spaghetti logo. The visual centerpiece is the custom 3-ply black pickguard and matching rear tremolo cavity plate, both spec'd with a vibrant red center ply line that outlines the body contours beautifully. The maple neck features a comfortable modern C shape profile with a satin back finish, capped by an exceptionally dark rosewood fingerboard, a modern 9.5 inch radius, and 21 narrow-tall frets. For electronics, it comes factory loaded with three clear, punchy single-coil pickups wired to black plastic fluted control knobs and a 5-way selector switch, delivering all the classic bell-like snap and glassy definition you expect from a premium Stratocaster.

The hardware is entirely original and finished in a specialized black nickel plating, including the vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge and stable vintage-style tuning machines.

This guitar is in excellent overall cosmetic condition and has been completely serviced in our shop warehouse, including a thorough detail cleaning, fresh strings, and a professional setup for low, slick action. The matte finish is remarkably clean with almost no glossy spot rubouts from handling. There is one minor, typical cosmetic finish checking line located right along the lip of the neck pocket joint on one side of the body, which is entirely superficial in the clear poly layer and does not affect the solid structural neck seating in any way. The frets are in magnificent shape with virtually no visible wear on the wire, offering an absolute level playing experience.
