Fender Japan Hybrid II Telecaster Forest Blue 2022 Rosewood

Available now at the Japanese Guitar Company is a phenomenal Fender Japan Hybird II Telecaster in a rare and vibrant Forest Blue finish. This model was created primarily for the Japanese domestic market and blends traditional Fender aesthetics with highly innovative modern playing upgrades that aren't typically available on standard North American releases.

The Hybrid II series is built around a resonant alder body and a satin-finished maple neck featuring a comfortable modern C shape. The dark rosewood slab fingerboard is spec'd with a contemporary 9.5 inch radius and 22 narrow-tall frets, offering incredibly slick playability and bend clarity. Under the hood, it comes loaded with factory custom-voiced Hybrid II single-coil pickups wired to premium USA-spec components. One of the best performance upgrades here is the 4-way pickup blade switch, which gives you the standard vintage Tele settings plus a very welcome fourth position that engages both pickups in series for a massive, fat humbucker-like punch.

The hardware includes vintage-style locking tuners for rock-solid stability and a classic Pat. Pend. bridgeplate fitted with slanted, compensated brass barrel saddles for spot-on intonation.

This guitar has been completely detailed and fully set up in our workshop. It is in excellent overall condition, showing only minor, superficial clear-coat scratches on the body from light play. The neck profile and headstock are clean, and the original frets show a healthy 8.8 out of 10 life remaining with plenty of mileage left on them.
