Fender Japan Stratocaster Orange - Maple Neck - 1997 - 2000

Cool late-'90s Fender Japan Stratocaster in a bright Orange finish with a maple neck and fingerboard. Serial number O098787 dates it approximately to 1997-2000.

This one has definitely been played and shows plenty of cosmetic wear throughout, including dings, scratches, scuffs and areas of finish chipping. We've tried to show the more noticeable spots clearly in the photos. Despite the wear, it still presents well and has a great look.

When it came in, the original bridge pickup was dead. We replaced it with a comparable ceramic single-coil measuring approximately 5.75K. All three pots were also replaced with higher-quality full-size WD Music pots. The remaining pickups and electronics are functioning properly.

The guitar has been cleaned, restrung and professionally set up and is playing great. The frets show minimal wear with plenty of life remaining.

Overall we'd rate the condition as Good due primarily to the cosmetic wear. A nice player-grade Japanese Fender that's ready to go.
