Very cool Fender Japan Jazz Bass Standard finished in classic 3-Tone Sunburst with a versatile PJ pickup configuration.

Made in Japan, this bass combines the familiar feel and ergonomics of a traditional Jazz Bass with the added punch of a Precision Bass pickup. The result is a bass that can cover an impressive range of tones, from warm and full vintage sounds to tighter, more articulate modern tones.

Just cleaned, restrung, and professionally set up here at Japanese Guitar Company. It plays great with comfortable action and an easy, fast feel up and down the neck.

This one definitely has plenty of cosmetic wear from years of use. There are scratches, dings, finish wear, and several larger chips around the lower body edge, all clearly shown in the photos. Despite the cosmetic wear, the bass remains structurally solid and functions exactly as it should.

One pleasant surprise is the condition of the frets. They show almost no wear, giving this bass many years of life left despite its well-played appearance. The neck feels great, the electronics work perfectly, and everything has been checked over before listing.

If you're looking for a great-playing Japanese Fender without paying collector prices for a mint example, this is an excellent player's bass that delivers exactly what these Made in Japan instruments are known for.
