Fender Japan MG-69/MH Mustang Reissue – Matching Headstock – Candy Apple Red – 2010-2011

Up for sale is a beautiful Fender Japan MG-69/MH Mustang in Candy Apple Red with the factory matching headstock. These matching headstock models are considerably less common than the standard MG-69 and have become increasingly desirable among collectors and players alike.

Overall, the guitar is in excellent condition. The finish still has a deep gloss and presents extremely well. There is one finish chip on the body at the neck pocket that has been carefully touched up in red to make it much less noticeable. Outside of that, only light signs of handling are present.

The neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly, and the rosewood fretboard is in excellent shape. The frets show almost no wear and have many years of life remaining.

Everything appears to be original, including the MG Vintage single-coil pickups, Dynamic Vibrato system, electronics, and hardware. The pickups deliver the bright, articulate Mustang tone these Japanese reissues are known for, while the traditional Mustang switching system provides the classic in-phase and out-of-phase sounds.

This is an exceptionally clean example of one of Fender Japan's most desirable offset models and is ready to play right out of the case.
