Kawai FG-100M Vintage MIJ Acoustic Guitar Natural w/ Chipboard Case

Up for sale is a Kawai FG-100M acoustic guitar made in Japan.

Built during the era when Kawai was producing quality affordable Japanese acoustics, the FG-100M features an all-laminate construction with a warm, balanced voice that's well suited for casual playing, songwriting, and vintage guitar enthusiasts.

We recently cleaned the guitar and installed a fresh set of strings. It plays and functions as it should, but it is being sold in fair condition due to several structural issues that should be noted.

The top has developed a noticeable sink on the bass side of the soundhole along with a bulge behind the bridge. There is also a slight separation between the bridge and the top in the center section only. We inspected the bridge closely and it currently feels solid despite the visible gap. Additionally, there is a hole/crack in the bass-side rim of the body as shown in the photos.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows the normal scratches, dings, finish wear, and signs of use expected from a vintage instrument.

Includes the original chipboard case.
