Korg SAS-20 Personal Keyboard

Up for sale is a vintage Korg SAS-20 Personal Keyboard.

Produced during the early era of home electronic keyboards, the SAS-20 combines built-in speakers, automatic accompaniment functions, rhythm patterns, preset voices, and Korg's unique "Compu Magic Accompaniment" system into a compact all-in-one instrument. With its distinctly late-1970s/early-1980s styling and Japanese construction, the SAS-20 has become an interesting collectible piece for vintage keyboard enthusiasts, restorers, and electronic instrument collectors.

The keyboard features multiple preset instrument voices, built-in rhythm patterns, accompaniment modes, microphone input, headphone output, auxiliary outputs, and an onboard speaker system.

This unit powers on and produces sound; however, several keys are not functioning properly. Because of the key issues, the instrument is being sold as a project, restoration candidate, or parts unit.

Cosmetically, the keyboard is in fair to good vintage condition overall. It shows typical age-related wear including scratches, scuffs, discoloration, staining, oxidation, dust accumulation, and general signs of use throughout. The control panel graphics remain largely intact and present well for its age.
