Osamu Tomita Nol. 15 1974 Japan Classical Guitar w/ Hard Case
Just cleaned, restrung, and set up. This vintage Japanese-built classical guitar plays comfortably with low action and has a warm, mature tone that works well for classical, fingerstyle, and general practice use.
The guitar shows significant cosmetic wear from its 50+ years of use. There is a crack on the top near the neck/body joint (pictured). The crack appears stable and the guitar remains a solid player. Along the bass side of the neck are several large holes where metal side position markers were previously installed and later removed. These holes are visible and represent the most significant cosmetic issue on the instrument.
The frets show only light to moderate wear and have plenty of life remaining. The guitar has been cleaned, restrung, and is ready to play.
Features a beautiful cedar top paired with striking rosewood back and sides, along with decorative rosette and purfling details typical of higher-end Japanese classical guitars from the period.
Includes the hard shell case shown in the photos.
