Yamaha FG-151B Dreadnought Acoustic MIJ w/ Hard Case

A great-playing vintage Yamaha FG-151B dreadnought acoustic guitar made in Japan. These FG-series guitars have earned a fantastic reputation for offering excellent build quality, reliability, and the warm, balanced tone that has made vintage Japanese Yamahas increasingly sought after.

This guitar has just been cleaned, restrung, and is ready to go. It has a comfortable neck and produces a full, clear sound with plenty of volume.

Overall, the guitar is in good condition. There are normal signs of cosmetic wear throughout from decades of use, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage instrument. The frets show virtually no wear, which is always great to see on an older acoustic.

The action currently measures approximately 0.11" (2.8 mm) on the bass side and 0.09" (2.3 mm) on the treble side at the 12th fret. While this is on the higher side, it remains very playable. The saddle has already been lowered as far as practical, so there is little to no additional adjustment available to further reduce the action.

One thing worth mentioning is that the saddle has a split/chipped section. It functions properly and does not affect the playability of the guitar, but we wanted to disclose it for complete accuracy.
