Yamaha FG-251 MIJ Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar w/ Hard Case

Up for sale is a Yamaha FG-251 dreadnought acoustic guitar made in Japan.

Part of Yamaha's highly regarded FG series, the FG-251 earned a reputation for offering excellent craftsmanship, dependable construction, and a warm, balanced voice that has made these vintage Japanese Yamahas favorites among players for decades. It features a laminated spruce top with beautifully figured laminated rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and the classic tortoise-style pickguard.

We recently cleaned, restrung, and professionally set the guitar up here at the shop. It plays wonderfully with comfortable, low action and is ready for its next owner.

Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good condition overall. There are minor dings, scratches, and light signs of normal use throughout, but nothing significant or structurally concerning. It presents very well for its age.

Includes the hard shell case shown in the photos.

A fantastic vintage Yamaha that would make an excellent everyday player, songwriting guitar, or first vintage acoustic.
