Yamaha G-170A Classical Guitar Japan

Beautiful vintage Yamaha G-170A classical guitar made in Japan by Nippon Gakki.

Just cleaned, restrung, and professionally set up here at Japanese Guitar Company. The action currently measures 4.0mm at the 12th fret on the bass side and 3.75mm on the treble side. It is fully playable and sounds excellent, though some players may find the action a bit higher than preferred for extended playing.

Overall, this guitar is in good condition with very little fret wear. The finish shows normal scratches and small dings from decades of use, along with some finish ghosting on the back as shown in the photos. None of the cosmetic wear affects the guitar's structural integrity or performance.

The G-170A sits above Yamaha's entry-level classical models and features attractive appointments, quality Japanese craftsmanship, and the warm, balanced tone that has made vintage Nippon Gakki Yamahas so desirable.
