Yamaki D126 Dreadnought MIJ Acoustic Guitar w/ Original Hard Case

Made in Japan Yamaki D126 dreadnought acoustic guitar.

Freshly cleaned, restrung, and professionally set up with comfortable low action. This guitar plays exceptionally well with a smooth neck, strong fret life, and the big, rich voice that made Yamaki acoustics so respected among Japanese-made instruments of the 1970s and early 1980s.

The D126 features a beautiful aged spruce top paired with dark rosewood back and sides, giving it the classic look and tonal character that players often associate with vintage Martin-inspired Japanese acoustics. It produces a warm, balanced sound with impressive volume and plenty of clarity for both strumming and fingerstyle playing.

Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good condition overall. There are a few finish blemishes and areas of discoloration on the top along with normal signs of age and use, but nothing that affects playability or structural integrity. The frets show very little wear and the guitar has many years of life ahead of it.

A particularly nice feature is the original hard shell case, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find alongside these vintage Yamaki instruments.

Whether you're looking for a quality Japanese-made acoustic, a vintage player-grade dreadnought, or simply an alternative to the more commonly seen Yamaha and Morris models, the D126 is an excellent example of the craftsmanship that helped put Japanese acoustics on the map.

Very Good condition. Fresh setup with low action. Frets show minimal wear. A few cosmetic blemishes and finish discoloration on the top as shown in the photos. Structurally solid and playing great.
