Fender Japan FSR 2024 Traditional II 70s Telecaster Custom Natural Ash

This exquisite instrument represents a striking marriage of iconic 1970s design choices and immaculate contemporary Japanese craftsmanship. Featuring a highly figured ash body under a flawless gloss Natural finish, this model beautifully highlights the bold organic wood grain patterns beneath. The configuration centers on a period-correct layout, utilizing a comfortable chunkier U-shaped maple neck, a matching gloss-finished maple fingerboard, a modern 9.5-inch radius, and classic black dot position markers.

The diverse electronic layout is driven by a prominent Fender Wide Range humbucking pickup in the neck position for fat, warm jazz-inflected warmth, coupled with a vintage-voiced single-coil pickup at the bridge for signature biting Telecaster country and rock twang. Dual independent volume and tone controls for each pickup give players precise control over mixed tonal shadings, while the three-saddle vintage string-through-body bridge ensures optimal acoustic resonance transfer directly into the body timber.

The structural integrity and overall setup are pristine, providing low, fluid action across the neck with almost zero measurable play wear on the original frets. The glossy finish is in excellent cosmetic condition throughout, save for a single hairline stress line in the multi-ply black plastic pickguard near the neck humbucker casing.

This minor cosmetic anomaly is entirely surface-level and stable, leaving the surrounding ash wood untouched. The guitar comes complete with its factory-branded soft gig bag and genuine documentation.
